The Athletic Department at Miami Springs Senior High School is an extension of the educational program. Each student-athlete is able to develop mentally, physically and emotionally as a result of their participation in the athletic program.

It is our mission therefore, to instill the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and achieving goals in every student-athlete at Miami Springs Senior High School. These values will provide the personal qualities necessary for each student to become successfully in our society.

 
 
MSSH Baseball Students University Bound

Congratulations to Yasmani Grandal and Yoandy Barroso, both of whom signed full scholarships with the University of Miami and the University of South Florida respectively. According to Baseball America Grandal is rated in the top twenty of all high school players in the nation and is the number one defensive catcher in the country, and Barroso is also rated high quite high. Both of these young men will likely be drafted in the upcoming Major League Baseball Draft next June. GO HAWKS!
