Welcome to Communications Systems and Web Design. This program builds on a foundation of the vast area of Communications and Visual Technology with an emphasis on graphic arts and interactive communications, which includes graphic design, web design, digital photography and video, and digital printing production methods.
State-of-the-art technology equipment and graphic design software, such as, Apple computers and Adobe Creative Suite Web Premium's Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and Dreamweaver are used to teach design and production techniques currently used in industry and visual arts. Our Web design lab allows students to go beyond static, two-dimensional graphics and venture into areas such as web animation and multimedia production.
Career opportunities within this field include Visual Merchandise Specialist, Graphic Design, Web Design, Animation, Fine Artist, Photojournalist, Motion Picture and Sound Editor, and Print Media Director.
